Humm, it's a very cool 2D fighting game! If you liked guilty gear, you'll like blazblue (it is much slower, tho)
The story is a little complex, since it involves time cycles and a lot of things that remain unexplained (like its predecessor Guilty Gear)
You should go after some videos to see if you like it =)

I played the arcade version just twice, I'm more used to play in PS3 or PSP.. it really is awesome =)
